Ceramic alumina tube and insulator are used in thermocouple assembly which applied for high temperature messuring.

Al2O3 content determines the measuring temperature level, Al2O3 content higher, the temperature is higher.

Alumina Tubes is the the workhorse of the advanced technical ceramic tubes.  It has good mechanical and electrical properties, wear resistance and corrosion resistance.  It has relatively poor thermal shock resistance.
