Explosion-proof RTD Sensor / Resistance Temperature Detector
Product Description
1. Introduction
RTD, also Resistance Temperature Detector,or resistive thermal devices, thermal resistance temperature measurement.
1. Explosion-proof RTD Sensor through the special structure connection head,
designed to extinguish flames inside the device,
eliminating the potential for ignition of flammable mixtures in the surrounding atmosphere.
2. Explosion-proof RTD sensor can be used with a temperature measuring explosive dangerous places.
3. Designed expressly for accurate sensing in thermowells, the assemblies feature all stainless steel spring-loaded holders for positive probe contact in thermowells.
4. The unique holder design permits free movement of the probe while meeting flame path requirements, so that it can be safely used with any thermowell or none at all.
5. The assemblies come with a choice of three RTD and thermocouple probe styles: copper-tip for best response, all stainless fast response styles, or mineral insulated probes for best vibration resistance
2. Application
It is usually connected with
- display meter,
- recording meter
- and computer, etc.
to directly measure temperature of
- liquid,
- vapor,
- gas and
- solid surface
ranging from -200ºC to 500ºC with exploxives such as hydrocarbon on production spot.
3. Advantages:
- High accuracy, good stability
- High temperature -120~1300C
- Fast response, anti-explosion
- 100% qualified factory test.
- Different fixing are available
- Spring thermal element with good shock-proof performance;
- No compensational wire, spare cost;
- Imported film resistor with high reliability and stability
